As a Kiwi also an Aussie resident for over 40 years I hadn't known Maori was first recorded as being in Sydney 200 years ago . If you have an interest in history book a tour Hohepa is an excellent historian you won't be disappointed

  The Rocks, Sydney - Maori lived here, 1790's  - I only remember The Rocks for the pubs, pubs and oh yeah pubs. That was a few years ago. Gosh it has changed a lot since way back then.
... read more /> Who would have thought The Rocks had Maori living, working, dying and buried since 1790's. The stories, name places and seeing some relics of Maori (at the Museum) were fantastic I never knew.

Thanks Kotahi Tourism, I loved the tour, being with friends and new friends, having lunch afterwards, then a little shop at the markets.
