NAIDOC 2015

We’re all standing on sacred ground

The Rocks Dreaming Aboriginal Heritage Tour takes place in Tallawalladah (The Rocks) on Gadigal Country.

“I’d been living in Australia and working in The Rocks for a few years before I met Aunty Margret Campbell and experienced The Rocks Dreaming Aboriginal Heritage Tour.

The ‘birthplace of the nation’ stories I’d been learning about The Rocks were given a reality check as the tour began and we ‘walked Country’. Buildings, roads and the city seemed to fade as Aunty Margret shared stories and connections around us  – ochre on the walls of the Arglye Cut; patterns in the bark on trees, whales in the harbour, the lay of the land … an unforgettable first experience of being on Country” (Mel)

If you’d like to experience The Rocks Dreaming Aboriginal Heritage Tour for yourself, there’s a special 10% discount for bookings made during NAIDOC week (July 5-12). Just enter the code NAIDOC2015 when you book. The tour runs 10.30-12pm daily and can also be booked for school and exclusive groups.
