With a Māori guide, on this 2 hour walking tour you’ll visit heritage sites including Old Government House, Kings School and St Johns Cemetery, see Māori taonga (treasured objects) and hear surprising stories of Māori in Parramatta from 1805 to the present, where 1 in 5 Māori now live in Australia – many of them in Parramatta!
Parramatta Māori Tours are based on Māori historian Maraama Kamira’s book Māori Trade and Relations in Parramatta recently published by Parramatta City Council.
